The aim of the European Year of Cultural Heritage is to encourage more people to discover and engage with Europe's cultural heritage, and to reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space. The slogan for the year is: Our heritage: where the past meets the future.
Sharing European Cultural Heritage through Digital Storytelling
When sharing the experience of cultural heritage, whether it’s shared European or national, it’s always important to create a story that connects with the audience.
This project aims to equip students with skills to analyse items of cultural heritage in several fields(food, music as a communal experience, literature, landmarks and sustainable lifestyles), identify the building blocks of a narrative within these items and learn how to best express this narrative in various digital media in a way that appeals to their generation.

These fields of cultural heritage will all be looked at with the curricula of several school subjects in mind and with the help of their teachers.
